Caroline Coile is an award-winning author of 34 books on dogs, including the Encyclopedia of Dog Breeds, the top-selling breed encyclopedia in the US, and the leading dog show primer, Show Me! She's also a columnist for Dog World and AKC Family Dog as well as a guest on American television and radio shows. Caroline earned her PhD at Florida State University, specialising in canine senses, genetics and behaviour. When she's not writing or speaking about dogs, she's out walking her three Salukis and her sort-of-if-you-squint Russel Terrier.
